Walking in Portugal with Lara!

This walk is for you if:

  • A big walk sounds fun and adventurous, but you don’t have the bandwidth to plan it yourself.

  • You wonder how to train for the miles on the trail and how to be accountable.

  • You’d like to get support from like-minded women in a community.

  • You’re concerned about investing in yourself and wondering if it’s worth it. (Spoiler alert: it is.)

WHEN: Saturday, November 8 to Friday, November 14, 2025

Hello! Lara here, and my mission is to support 5+ women who want to walk the Fisherman’s Way in Portugal this November. I’ll use my solo-walk experiences to make this achievable, enjoyable, and most importantly, to make this a walk that leads you back to yourself in some way.

HOW: You are supported:

  • I will be coordinating with a third party that will send you packing instructions, a walking booklet, an app, and even a luggage tag.

  • They will be carrying our luggage from place to place each day so we don’t have to worry about anything.

  • Each day we get a breakfast that is included.

  • You can order a lunch that you eat on the road if you want.

  • I am not reinventing the wheel. This is a great company that I’ve used before and I highly recommend them.

HOW: We do this together (with Lara’s help!)

  • Everyone will receive a training schedule so no one is left behind, fitness-wise.

  • We will meet every other week on Zoom starting August 1 (6 meetings total) to build community and talk through obstacles.

  • You’ll get a reading list of books to open your mind/heart and keep you encouraged.

  • We will gather at the start and end of each day to ask what the walk wants us to know.

  • We will have meals together and support as we break out of our own limitations.
